About the Dept. of Common Decency

At Dept. of Common Decency, we make t-shirts for the exhausted optimists—the people who still hold doors, return shopping carts, and give a damn about strangers, even when it feels like they're the only ones left doing it.

Founded in 2026, we exist because common decency used to be common, and the people still practicing it shouldn't feel like relics of a bygone era. Our apparel is designed for individuals who refuse to let the world's BS erode their principles, even when kindness feels like rebellion.

We believe that holding onto your values in a culture that's abandoned them isn't naive—it's quietly heroic. And sometimes the only thing that keeps you from screaming into the void is a shirt that screams for you.

Every tee we create combines premium comfort with messages that matter. Because if you're going to keep being decent in an indecent world, you deserve clothing that's as resilient as you are. Our unisex designs are built to withstand daily wear while maintaining their edge—soft enough for all-day comfort, bold enough to make your point.

We're not here to lecture anyone about being nice. We're here to validate the people already doing the hard work of staying human when humanity feels optional. Our designs speak to the shopping cart returners, the thank-you sayers, the door holders—the people who understand that basic decency is the real punk rock.

As we grow, we remain committed to our core belief: decency shouldn't be this effing hard, and the people practicing it deserve to feel seen. Welcome to the department. We're glad you're still here.
